Peter Lohmueller studied computer science at the University of the German Armed Forces with the main focus on databases and IT infrastructure, and was also employed as an IT specialist at the Federal Ministry of Defense. He followed his career as an external IT consultant and lecturer at various ministries and in the German Bundestag.

From 1999 to 2004 he was project manager and IT manager at Bank-Verlag GmbH, the service company of the German Association of German Banks and from 2004 to 2011 independent IT consultant in Germany and abroad. Most recently as EMEA IT Manager at the International Auditor Association POLARIS (now PrimeGlobal). From 2011 to 2016 he worked as an organization and sales consultant for the auditing department at DATEV eG.

In addition to his sales function for the product areas of IT AUDIT GmbH, Mr. Lohmueller is responsible for the following areas:

• Consulting and seminar management for process optimization and practice organization of audit firms
• Team trainings and executive seminars, especially with regard to scaled and efficient examination documentation within the framework of the final examination
• Preparation of audit firms for external quality control
• Review and advice on IT security management issues
• Consultant for compliance and data protection
• Member of the DSGVO working group AUDITRUST

Mr. Lohmueller has the qualification of a Service Level Manager (ITIL), the © EXIN Institute,  Certified Network Manager and is Certified Data Protection Officer (TUEV ISO/IEC 17024).
